I didn't know Andy Irons and will never claim to have. Bumped into him, Parko and Louie at 13th Beach during the Bells comp this year and shot a little bit. There's a little vid that Tim Wreyford made for Swellnet and Tracks Mag down the bottom of the page.

Ballerina on Horseback

We hit the circus yesterday with the East of Grey crew to shoot some product. The Ballerina on Horseback range is circus inspired so the colouful trucks/tents etc make for good backgrounds.

Short day?

Winter Solstice (is that even how you spell it?) was on June 21st. Shortest day of the year or middle of winter or split second in time where the earth is at it's greatest angle away from the sun...don't really know.

International Surfing Day

Apparently June 20 was International Surfing Day. I don't know much about it but it looks like something that the crew at Surfing Magazine made up over smoko one day.

50 odd year career. He's remembered for singing with Rainbow, Black Sabbath/Heaven and Hell, solo gear and being a genuine heavy metal legend.

Idiots on Jet Skis

Ibis somehow conned the good folk at Billabong to give him a ski for a few days because the forecast looked good, then not so good, then good and finally flat.

Bells Wrap

Finally getting around to chucking some pics up here. I didn't end up shooting that much of the actual contest as Swellnet were more interested in the free surfing and goings on around the traps which was a blessing because I didn't have to stand at the comp all day and a curse because there were no waves for the majority of the time.
